Eitel Heinemann Mechanical Services

Provide mechanical and HVAC Services in the commercial/industrial/institutional building and real estate market for the Chicago metropolitan region. Services to be provided will include, primarily, mechanical/HVAC systems design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service. Under specific and limited circumstances mechanical consulting and brokerage services may be provided.

It is the intent of the management to self-perform, in-house, as many of the provided services as possible for the purpose of providing the highest quality product possible. In-house capabilities will include (but not necessarily be limited to):

• Engineering and design.
• Sheetmetal ductwork and specialty metal fabrication
• HVAC Ventilation contracting services,
• HVAC Piping contracting services,
• Mechanical/HVAC commissioning services (equipment start-up, automatic temperature control system start-up, air and water balancing, warrantee, maintenance)
• Mechanical/HVAC Maintenance, repair, and retrofit services

Chip Heinemann

Chip was employed by VA Smith for 10 years and prior to VAS, Chip worked with FE Moran. At VAS, Chip was a Vice-President and a construction sales engineer. Chip graduated with a mechanical engineering degree and is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Illinois.

Ed Beelen

Ed was employed by VA Smith for 11 years and was most recently the Construction Manager for Exelon Services Mechanical Group (ESMG), the parent company of VA Smith. Ed is a journeyman pipefitter with 30+ years of experience. As construction manager for ESMG, Ed was responsible for over 200 tradesmen in the field and in two duct fabrication shops.

Dave Eitel

Dave was employed by VA Smith since 1980, most recently as President. Dave is a graduate engineer with 28 years experience in the industry.

At EHMS we like to give back to the community when we can, as it gives us a source of pride to help others that are in need.  Our office and field personnel have done soup kitchens, helped with special olympics and Christmas gifts for the needy. We volunteered our time and resouces for the Homes for our Troops.
